Just wanted to let you know that the changes you're seeing on the board are due to some software updates that are still in progress. Things may look a little different for awhile until all our customizations have been restored. No cause for alarm!

Hi, everyone,

Because of issues with the greenmiles style (i.e., no one using it could log in), I've changed everyone to the default style, prosilver. Once all the updates are finished and everything is working again, you'll be able to set your styles to whatever you prefer.

Corwen, the "active topics" seems to be working now--at least for me. Are you still having problems with it?

Re active topics, it is only displaying posts made in the Common Quest part of the forum, nowhere else, so its not useable. I have cleared the cache and tried it in Google Chrome, Opera, Firefox and IE 8 and it is the same in all of them, so I'm sure it isn't a browser issue.

I too am having the same problems as Corwen - the active topics link show only items from the Common Quest. Not much help, I know, but it at least shows it's not just Corwen's PC. I use IE8 btw, and I don't have any other browsers to try I'm afraid.

I know, that part is still not working correctly--Kernos has been looking into it but he's apparently not yet found a fix. We'll post something when we know what's happening. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Check it now. Kernos and I just went through and changed the settings for all the forums and most of the subforums (didn't bother with the ones that rarely get a new post)...you should be able to see the topics for any forum your board permissions allow you access. If you notice something absent that you think should be there, let me know--it wouldn't have been difficult to miss one or more when going through the hoops required to convince them to display again.

Looks good Selene, I got 3 pages of them. I assume this only shows as active those forums one has permissions for.

Seems to. I tested it with my non-OBOD username as well as not logged in at all and I couldn't see anything I wasn't supposed to.

Active Topics is mostly working. In my case, I noticed that I don't see posts from the the german bards subforum in it ("Deutsch"). I didn't check for each and every forum.

Corwen, "View new posts" is working fine for me, and if you stay logged in it is almost identical to the "active topics" view.
