A while back, Yamni – another member of Healing College – put up a request to find others who might be interested in joining together in performing a healing ritual that could be done simultaneously and with the hope that people from several continents might participate. I replied to his suggestion, and it so happened I was the only one who did at that time. We devised a simple ritual to use elements to send healing. This involved making a connection with Ogam symbols, then making a petition for healing for ourselves and all others and the Earth, plus a private personal message, with a candle to launch our intention followed by a brief period of meditation. It would, of course, be appropriate that you might choose to add to this common ritual (using the same words, gestures and intentions) with the aim of magnifying healing vibrations, by adding whatever else you felt personally relevant. For example, Yamni included special crystals, essential oils and his healing vortex method, I included incense, crystals and local flowers.
On Saturday, 25 June at 9.15 a.m, for me, in U.K. and 10.15 a.m. for Yamni, in France, we performed this healing ritual simultaneously and for the first time. This was so nice we have decided to do another ceremony for the autumn equinox, this time using water to carry the healing message. It is a pleasure to work with Yamni. We also decided to make an announcement to the wider OBOD forum about this so that others who might want to could join in with us next time. We have just been joined by Fitheach, who lives in California, U.S.A. and now adds another dimension to this small intercontinental sharing.
