Daughter of Tintagel by Fay Sampson, the complete omnibus. It's a thoroughly enjoyable and compelling look at Morgan's life during Arthur's early days told by her nurse, a nun from tintagel, a blacksmith, Taliesin and Morgan herself...as a student of the bardic it's a beautiful extension to the story of Taliesin...highly recommended!

I seem to have come to an end of downloading free (legitimately so) books from Amazon and Project Gutenberg - although Gutenberg has a never-ending and ever-increasing supply - highly recommended (www.gutenberg.org).
Having done that, I have had to resort to reading a few! I am concentrating mainly on the classics, which I read many years ago and am now re-discovering them - I obviously didn't pay much attention in the past.

Both Dickens and Hardy are still wonderful reads and also still relevant. My big disappointment is with D H Lawrence - very stilted, long-winded and, to my mind, mysoginistic - I won't be picking him up again. H G Wells is also worth a read, although somewhat dated.

I don't go for much modern fiction. I did recently enjoy "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruis Zafon - mystery, detective and with a background of books.

I have about half a dozen books I've started and now need to prioritise and work through. First up is "The Enchantress of Florence" by Salman Rushdie. Really enjoyable and a joy for a storyteller to read.

I'm working my way through Wolf Hall. It has some brilliant moments in it (such as when Cromwell as a child witnessed the burning of a woman at the stake, and how citizens responded to outbreaks of plague), but I keep losing track of who all the characters are. It has definitely made me more interested in the Tudors.

Le Petit Prince, in French, though it's been missing for a few days.

The Measure of the Magic by Terry Brooks, very in interesting.

And a book on the Spanish language.

I think there's a few more books laying around, but I don't remember what right now...

On my last trip to Glastonbury I picked up a copy of "f*** it, the ultimate spiritual way"... I'm finding it both hilarious reading material and true on a very profound level.

*edit: I typed the f-word fullout since it's part of the title, but the forum cleaned up my act... quit funny*

I'm just starting in "Living with Honour, A Pagan Ethics" by Emma Restal Orr. It's thoughtprovoking but a slow read. A lot of info in every line.
