The Spoken Word

Postby Susanne » 29 Oct 2010, 15:30

Greetings
Lately I have been listening to spoken word CDs & have found them to be not only entertaining but incredibly insightful & helpful in my Bardic coursework.
Druidcast Episode 43 had a part of The Mabinogion which I downloaded from iTunes. It is wonderful!
I also got a CD of the Song of Taliesin which is another fantastic production.
Does anyone know of any other good spoken word CDs or downloads?
Blessings

There's a wonderful CD by Carolyn Hillyer called 'Cave of Elders. A soul Journey for Women'
More of a meditation tool rather than the spoken word and there's no reason why men can't enjoy it too.

Thanks Heddwen. I'll be sure to check it out.
Mara Freeman has some wonderful guided meditations CDs also.
