SWEET WATERS OF LIFE

Mirror of the softly brilliant dawn sky
Sun diamonds dance upon her surface.
I am held afloat upon her deep and gentle waters
Loosing the lines of distinction
Merging, osmosis perfection.
Soul opening sweet waters of life, oasis of love.
The floodgates of emotions unfettered
spill into the eternal Sea~

All knowing womb.
Sea of limitless possibilities.
She knows mans secrets and mysteries

Man’s history.

She is our blood and we are free
to yield
to her gentle acceptance
of our tears, our joy, our life.

Beneath her surface we are all one.

Beneath her surface lies the history

of us all.

Mutual Consent

I am really in love with some of these entries! I haven't read each and everyone yet but am looking forward to doing so once voting starts - wow! Thank you all for sharing your work.

Here is my first entry. It is basically about my relationship with my writing (it's actually the poem that I have tattooed on my back, which you can just about make out in my signature :))

Mutual Consent
Blood drips onto the page,
Flowing down from where life
Pierces his beautiful dark heart.
With my pen I shape it,
Trailing red fire across pure whiteness.
Inscribing his being;
Transcribing his life and mine.
Entwined.
One can’t exist without the other.
A mutual feast.

White Flame

Postby Spiritweaver » 14 Oct 2005, 23:20

This one was written after a visit to the Chalice Well, Glastonbury this year

White Flame

The water is the white flame
The blood red spring that nourishes us
The sensual yet never forbidden pleasure of her body
The holy sanctuary of her breast,
The blazing joy of her presence.
White fire of the moon, white blaze of my soul,
Our soul, Her soul, His soul, forever and ever
The spiral dance of rainbows on the white water,
Unending, web-weaving, soul-brightening swirl
Of Mother, Father, Goddess, God within us all.

High from the north

On the corssroads of time many ages ago
From far away they came with ships over sea
The legends saya they came high from the north
from the land of ancient gods in the dark ages
The mystery of their apperence was never solved
All that was left are ruins and graves
The legend lives trough inthe strongest among us with ancient blood in their veins
There presents will never fade
High from the north they came over sea
With their knives, swords and bows
they came to the land
To conquer the land and stealing the woman and killing the man
By axes swords and bows
Burning the villages, drinking the blood of their deads
Their hunger for power and greed
people suffer over their overwhelming ,overwhelming force

This was a songtext of the band feeble minded 1996-2000

blessings Elisabeth
For the king for the land for the mountains
For the green valleys where dragons fly
For the glory the power to win the black lord
I will search for the emerald sword

Rhapsody of fire - Symphony of enchanted lands - Emerald sword

Peace and Love and Light

Yemaya

Postby Spiritweaver » 14 Oct 2005, 23:21

Inspired by the lady of the ocean in all her beauty and power ...

Yemaya
She carves with her body,
Soft azure blue against
Blood-veined storm clouds.
She breathes soft words
And she moulds with the
Patience of a finely skilled
Potter, waiting for the perfect
Moment to throw the clay of
Earth upon her wheel of water.
Her waves move against cliffs,
A sculptor forming rocks in
Dancing swirls and spirals.
Cauldrons, chalices,
Shell-lined cups, all
Spring forth from
Her capable hands
Treasures of wheel
Brush
Chisel.
Long slow dance through
Glass
Constantly letting go.
