2006 IMBOLC/LUGHNASADH CRAFTS ENTRIES

Postby Crow » 20 Dec 2005, 18:49

Notice: Includes three-dimensional objects crafted by hand, such as wands, staves, athames, jewelry, etc., but excluding sculpture. Generally speaking, craft items would be used for some purpose, as opposed to art created to be viewed. Please post your craft entries for the current Eisteddfod here.

Greetings, and an entry

Postby Danaan » 13 Jan 2006, 07:39

Greetings,

I've been in the Bardic grade, but this is my first post on the message board. This is an eight-sided, 16 foot diameter drum pavilion (24 foot with guide ropes). I sewed it this last year, with my own design. (The sides are shown partially lowered- it was hot weather during these festivals.) The tent was actually good at containing/focusing the drum music inside. Blessings,

Dana

:) there is a lot of jewellery in this Eisteddfod - I'll add something else :)

I made this jewellery using handmade (when stone is soft, because I don't have professional tools) and ready-made beads and other components. I use natural materials ( semi-precious and decorative stones, silver, clay, wood).
Here is one of my necklaces, I hope you'll like it :)
It is called "In the Shade of the Oak"
