Silver Owl I like your Luna Light very much :) How did you made it?

and sth from me:
Winter Solstice
I made it on the occasion of this year's Winter Solstice. I wanted to render the atmosphere of this unique moment when from deppest darkness, snow and frost the new light is born.

Cernunnos, Lord of the Beasts

Postby Explorer » 26 Dec 2005, 19:49

When all the world has gone to sleep
the hunters to the forest creep
from out the wild wood comes the call:
"the hunt is life, the hunt is all"
And ancient forest beckons me
to run sky clad amongst the trees
My lusty spear it cannot wait
the gentle deer to penetrate
"Cernunnos, Lord of Beasts" he grunts:
"come join us for the wylde hunt!"

This is a video of a Belly Dance interpretation of Jimi Hendrix's 'Purple Haze', from 6 years ago. My dance name is Rashidah, and I'm the one with the sheer veil on the front left, from the viewer's perspective.

Movie file will take awhile to load, and you may need to intall/update Windows Media Player. Free Windows Media Player 9 codecs here:

(Also, might want to try opening it in Internet Explorer if you usually use another browser).

ENTRY: Google Tarot (click for all cards)

I decided to google myself a tarot deck.

The rules (made up by me): google the name of the Major Arcana card in google images. (I have only progressed to majors)

One of the images on page one must be selected. They were then turned into playing card format using Illustrator and Photoshop.
I was allowed to tweak my luck by googling a slightly similar term, e.g. Hanged instead of hanged man or priest instead of high priest (this one showed up exceptionally many already existing tarot cards!!), and to select for large images only, for example.

This is as it stands today, the results may change with time as google fluctuates. Enjoy (click images for gallery)!

This digital piece I did is one of many pieces of work I have done for the fantasy novel I am writing and illustrating. I created this piece using a combination of Poser 6, Photoshop 7, Painter IX, and a plug-in called Dimigmarc. I hope you enjoy.

Take care!

The Dark Lands

Postby Belet » 06 Jan 2006, 03:07

Hello everyone! I must say this is really fun being able to see all the creativity you all have! This piece called The Dark Lands is a picture that I created on the computer of just one of many places to be found in the fantasy novel I am writing. I created this picture using Poser 6, Photoshop 7, Bryce 5, a Digital Photograph that I took of a stormy El Paso Texas sky, and a plug-in program called Digimarc. Travel to the Dark Lands if you dare but remember that not even the Storm Dragons will follow should you scream.

Thanks for your encouragment everyone!
Linda Fields (aka Belet')

The Lost Books of Krystalia

Postby Belet » 06 Jan 2006, 03:17

This is a link to the web site I am creating to compliment the fantasy novel I am writing. Everything from the digital artistry to the music and animations were all done by me....I hope this was the right spot to post the link and I hope you enjoy. Please note that you will need your volume up to hear everything and you may find the download time lengthy depending on your internet connection. Sorry...but this is still very much in its' baby stages so the imperfections are very much still there.

Take care,
Linda Fields (Belet')

Here is a link to the entry on my DeviantART account. It's a emoticon gif animation made with Macromedia Fireworks. It's uh...interesting...
