2 entries here, both taken whilst in motion, from the cab of my truck not knowing the results - literally point and shoot pics.

What looks like snow is actually a very Heavy frost, as these were taken at approx 2:30pm.

She's the goddess of love
The goddess in green
The goddess of all
That I've ever seen
The goddess of hope
The goddess in brown
The goddess of all
That you've burned to the ground

OK.. here is a nice warming one for the winter evenings.. A pint of Harveys (beer brewed in Lewes, UK) taken on 27th December, at the Lewes Arms (a really nice pub) with a coal fire in the background..

Eagle

Postby Belet » 06 Jan 2006, 04:20

This was one beautiful Eagle that I took a picture of in Washington state. I had the extreme pleasure of being able to tour the Mountain Trek Reserve that was filled with rescued wild animals. The most awesome thing about the place was that all the animals were free to roam....no fences....no chains.....they had freedom but they all chose to stay put and they never tried to harm each other. The peace was understood and respected. God how I love nature.

Take care!

The Majestic Fallen

Postby Belet » 06 Jan 2006, 04:24

Though this beautiful tree fell from natural causes, I can't ignore how beautiful it remains and to think that it continues to be useful even when the soul of the tree seems all but gone. I love trees so much...I could never imagine a world without them.

Take care,
Linda Fields (Belet')

The Coming Storm

Postby Belet » 06 Jan 2006, 04:34

<a href="http://img352.imageshack.us/my.php?image=storm8oo.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/3871/storm8oo.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at http://www.ImageShack.us" /></a>

The Coming Storm

Smell the air
a metalic electricity
Feel the breeze
cooling so quickly
Hear the drumming
of a distant thunder
See the sun
cloaked in the coming storm
The first drop of rain
and winter is yours for the tasting.

This was one of my favorite time for taking pictures. I love the energy found in storms and this was no exception. How wonderful life is to serve us so many dishes that are never the same!

Lot's of Hugs!

Parkade Floor Mushrooms:

Here is a Picture of a Patch of Mushrooms that managed to grow from a thins Crack in the Pavement of the Underground Parkade of the Building that I Manage.

I thought the Patch of Mushrooms was Beautiful due to the Fact that they were a Tenacious Lifeform enough to be able to grow in such Inhospitable Conditions.

Unfortunately, because of my Duties as a Building Manager, I had to Scrape them off Clean Up the Pavement. But before Cleaning them away, I took a couple of Pictures of them.

Here is the Picture of the Parkade Floor Mushrooms:
