Celtic Morning

A cool Mist.
White rays of Sunlight through breathing Trees.
Meadows and a Bird in flight.
Calling things are calling you.
Worlds unfolding at your feet.
Follow the stream of polished stones to the clear deep pool.
A sound, something stirs, and the Sun still Shines.

Surrounded by the raging of the storm

Postby Adam » 12 Jan 2006, 21:17

Surrounded by the raging of the storm

Surrounded by the raging of the storm
I still puzzle over the smallest of things

At which point does the centre become still?

I had forgotten
How the touch of your breath on my skin
Excites me.
We could be fire, you and I,
In the centre of this storm.

I had forgotten
How the sound of your song
Quickens my heart.

Embracing the raging of the storm
I had forgotten
How the smallest and the largest of things
Became still.

The Voice of the Dead

I am the fallen in conflict,
I am the soldier on the battlefield,
I am the pilot in the flaming plane,
I am the sailor in the sinking ship.

I am the bomb blast in the high street,
I am the passer by in the shopping centre,
I am the ambulance driver …
I am the scream of the injured.

I am the wail of the starving,
I am the shriek of the trapped,
I am the tearless face of the helpless,
I am the lost.

I am the sigh of great release,
I am the bringer of gentle grace,
I am the one who gives a helping hand,
I am the Guide,
I am Death.
...the turn of the earth. The ground beneath our feet is spinning at a thousand miles an hour. The entire planet is hurtling around the sun at sixty seven thousand miles an hour. And I can feel it.

Hello, this is my first entry here :) This short form isn't connected with gods, nature and beautiful, fluffy bunnies - I wrote it when I was strongly influenced by industrial, bugs and works of H.R.Giger, so it's rather bleak, creepy, or - oh no! - gothic :P. I hope someone likes it

ENTRY

Larva

I was born from nothing
From nothing I became
And into nothingness I will turn

I was born with squeech
And with squeech I will die

I was born in slime
Slime I am swallowing through my short life
And from slime will be born new Me

I was born surrounded by rasp
Because Metal rasps
And I will be accompanied by rasp in the end

I was born white
And I will walk away in colourful coat
Of butterfly wings

I was born crawling
And I will make off in flight

I was born as a Larva
And I will leave as a butterfly
Pinned down to a board
I exist to cease.

Green Song

Postby dmiley » 15 Jan 2006, 17:59

Green Song

The Land in Summer speaks.
Peopled long ago,
She remembers light and life
And sudden death.

Insect song, a soul chorus of
Land cradled voices
Rises through harvest,
Silenced by Winter’s touch.

In Winter, blood speaks to me -
Blood of my people
Strong and sure
Frail and foolish,
Gone but present still.

Heart song in forgotten tongues,
Blood remembered souls’
Voices swell past Solstice,
Hushed by Spring.

In Spring I stir among the reborn.
Sun reaching, death denying,
The green song on our lips.

The green song rises sunwise
Uncounted leaves unfurl,
Remembering nothing,
Rapt in immortality.

Song of Brede

Wondrous maiden queen of grace
Lady fair eternal bride
The beauty of your shimmering face
No time can mar no lie can hide

The crescent moon bejewels your crown
Silk mists form your silvery veil
The midnight sky your wedding gown
A star dust train behind you trails

The night air's perfumed with your sighs
Love incarnate sacred one
The radience of your glittering eyes
Eclipses even the brightest sun

The celestial music of the spheres
Heralds the merging of the worlds
The dewdrops of your crystal tears
Decorate your shining curls

Flowers fall from your fingers pale
The glow of moonbeams lights your path
The sweet song of the nightingale
Seranades you down to earth

While the green leafed forest canopy
Bows to form your bridal berth

Wondrous maiden queen of grace
Your Lord awaits your soft embrace
He bends his knee and stoops to greet
And kiss the star dust at your feet.
