"Scaling the Crystal Palace"

This photo was taken February.  Crabtree Falls, located near Lovingston, Virginia, was completely frozen over with ice and two climbers were making their way up the third tier.

The Sun on the Rose.

A play on the name of one of Damh's songs, I took this picture on holiday and have since associated it with the song. I always feel drawn to the centre of the rose, like I'm looking for a deeper aspect of it.

This is a photo that was taken in my home Grove earlier this summer, and it was the inspiration for my Triad entry as well (thus the title of this photo).

Deer at Play

This is a wooded area behind my home. After waiting quietly for weeks, I was fortunate enough to observe some of the deer as they passed by one evening. Quiet beautiful animals. I have also had the experience of running off large dogs when they attack the small fawns hiding in tall grass.
