New Eisteddfod Category - In Memory of Piastra

Postby The Fod Squad » 15 Dec 2007, 21:06

Pepper (Piastra) Scott Seasonal Eisteddfod Category

In memory of our beloved Piastra (or by whatever name you knew her), we have added a new category specifically for seasonal entries. Piastra always loved the entries that reflected the current season, so in addition to your entries in the other categories, you will be able to enter one seasonal entry. Please enter an original work that you think best reflects the season. In the case of the upcoming Eisteddfod, that will be Imbolc/Lughnasadh, so your entry should reflect either Imbolc, or Lughnasadh. This entry should be separate from your other entries (e.g. please don't post your snowdrops photo in both the photography and seasonal categories).

This category will be available for one turn of the wheel as a memorial, so everyone will have the chance to enter a seasonal entry for each season.

After the turn of the year, we will decide if this will be a perpetual category.

Since this is a new category, we expect some questions, so please direct any Eisteddfod questions to The Fod Squad.

Thank you for doing that. I know she'd love it. I can almost see her admonishing people for not voting from beyond the veil!

This is a wonderful way to uphold her memory indeed.
