2008 IMBOLC/LUGHNASADH TRIADS ENTRIES

Postby katsu » 22 Dec 2007, 20:50

Notice: Please add your original triads of wisdom for the current Eisteddfod here. Please note that for fairness of competition, entries should be single triads, e.g. 'The three components of __: X, Y, and Z,' and not of the 3x3 variety.

The X spokes of the Year turn the Yuletide festivals :

The Death of the Old Sun at the Solstice
Mothers Night on Xmas Eve
The Birth of the New Sun on Xmas Day
Most dear is fire to the sons of men,
most sweet the sight of the sun;
good is health if one can but keep it,
and to live a life without shame. (Havamal 68)

The three components of Spring:
The produce of the winters embrace,
The nourishment to feed the soul,
and the need to bring forth new expression.
"Don't look to the end of the rainbow for the pot of gold; it's already under your feet"
Enjoy this life. It would be a shame if we looked forward to the next, only to find we forgot the one before.

Three steps into spring:

Snowdrops
Elder
Cold

The snowdrops pushing through the ground herald one of the first signs of spring, and show the earth is waking.
The Elder is one of the first trees to unfurl its new leaves, and show the trees are waking.
This is often the very coldest time of the year, which shows that even in harshest times, there is hope.

Three deep joys touch a mother's soul:
Birthing new life from her womb,
The little one growing strong at her breast,
The grown child walking free and wise in the world.

Title: Path towards the "White Form": A Triad

There are three steps necessary to achieve the Fulfillment of Enlightenment; purpose, vision and trust in the Gods.

Reflection: When we become enlightened our lives are invigorated with Purpose and the Vision of what to do with that purpose. However, without Trust in the Divine and a Trust of what we have been Gifted, our vision can become lost in the Mist of Doubt and our purpose fade away. Do we dare Trust, so that we may live to our greatest potential?

perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.
Let him step to the music he hears,
however measured or far away."

There are but three steps in the dance of life; to breathe, to love and to seek.

My Greetings,

What do one do when one starts hating their lives?
*Remember the good times that you had.
*Remember the good that you have now.
*And always remember that you have a choice.

Blessings / l \
Ebela'ar the Student.
Free your Soul, let your wings take flight to the unending Azure sky.
