Rainbow Snake Dreaming Man. I did this in Paint. It's meant to show what happens when a Celt gets translated into an Aboriginal Dreamtime man - things get cosmic!!!

Green Man Revealed

As I was working with pictures of some beautiful flowers I photographed in Wilmington, NC, I was able to mirror a group of flowers growing together and what appeared, but the Green Man himself. :)

Story: This is actually a physical picture, but I couldn't post it in the Physical Art section because the border came from the computer (the rest is by hand). Edited it on the computer and the colours came out very vibrantly. It's a Rohan banner (as from The Lord of the Rings). You can click on the image for a larger version.

We bought "Oscar" the statue at the weekend. I was struck with the ball - and the inspiration that our fragile earth could be little more than a bauble in the god's temple. From that, I put together the above, getting the earth image from the web.
"Don't look to the end of the rainbow for the pot of gold; it's already under your feet"
Enjoy this life. It would be a shame if we looked forward to the next, only to find we forgot the one before.

One of a set of three montages I made a while ago featuring photographs I took in Washington DC, and some photograms (or Rayographs, if you please) of flowers.
This is a nice lady I met in Lafayette Park, with some of the signs from around there.
The different images were originally layered together in photoshop then output as 10x8 negative images on OHP film, which I printed as argyrotype and cyanotype images on heavy, watercolour paper.
