2008 BELTANE/SAMHUINN TRIADS ENTRIES

Postby Earthwoman » 31 Mar 2008, 00:23

Notice: Please add your original triads of wisdom for the current Eisteddfod here. Please note that for fairness of competition, entries should be single triads, e.g. 'The three components of __: X, Y, and Z,' and not of the 3x3 variety.

Triad of Life

3 things you can never take back:
    A secret once shared
    A promise once broken
A harsh word spoken in anger.

Goddess Triad

There are three times to be aware of the Goddess;
At every beautiful location,
During every inspired thought,
And with every feeling of love.

If we’re not aware of Her, know that She is aware of us.

Triad of Pain

Three Lessons of Chronic Pain:

~ Patience
~ Priorities
~ Compassion

Whether the sufferer learns them - or not - is the choice of the individual.

Bardic Inspiration – A Triad
There are three Sacred Movements which inspire the Bard;

The infinite patterns of the Sunset,
The Star illumined Night,
And the first Rays of the Golden Dawn.

The Awen comes to those who dare to stop, still themselves, and welcome whatever may come unto them.... Will we?

Three things you need - inspired by Derek Taylor(I think). He had something or other to do with The Beatles , anyway.

Three things you need:

Sobriety
Positive Energy
Knowing where you're next meal is coming from.

Three things a Bard needs at the end of a journey... A hot shower, a bit of rest and a good internet connection :D
:ohn:
it is not enough to find your passion...
you must dive straight into the fire of your fear~
where you can grab it and hold it
until it transforms you.

The three elements to success:
- A vision of where you want to be
- a plan of how you will get there
- the desire to get there.

Without a goal you will never reach your destination; without a clear path you may only reach your goal through luck; without the desire to get there you may give up before you even get started.
"Don't look to the end of the rainbow for the pot of gold; it's already under your feet"
Enjoy this life. It would be a shame if we looked forward to the next, only to find we forgot the one before.

Three commitments for radiant living:
To take good care of the body
To journey on the path of spirit
To live as true self without shame

These are things that bring me joy and lead to feeling fulfilled in life and being able to achieve my potential. I need to take care of my body with good food and movement, nuture personal growth and spiritual connection by walking my path, and live authentically without being ashamed of who I am. On that foundation I can build the life my heart desires.

Three warrior women of the flowerbed:

Lily of the valley, with her fibrous roots a-choking
Sweet woodruff, creeping steadily through underbrush and shadow
Golden marguerite, who surrounds herself with children

There are as many types of women as there are flowers, each with her own style of defense. Gardening has taught me that the garden is more a battlefield than I ever believed possible, and that survival depends upon persistence, strength and ingenuity as much as beauty. Adapt to your surroundings or change them to suit your needs, these flower-women say, and when opportunity presents itself, take it. |-)

To honour the gods,

To practice bravery.
