A Prayer of Cleansing and Purification

Guard against the Hate filled rage,
That it not destroy what we have made.
With shield reflect and staff direct,
The horrid hatred - evil’s pet.

Back to the Abyss of Annwn go you,
To be re-boiled by Loves sweet toil.
Through Loves sweet toil to good you change
And never again be evil’s rage.

Oh great Earth Mother
Oh Father Sky
Oh Child of Light
The Three Entwined

May we live this blessing all our days
And be made whole
by your Just ways.

Funeral Requiem

“Weep not for what we have lost for thy kin have merely returned to their spirit-home above.
Shed no tears of woe or sorrow for death is merely a passing shadow
like a drifting cloud in the dark, starry sky ‘cross the moon t
hat shines brightly upon the ethereal plains of the Otherworld.

Listen in the still night breezes to the voices carried forth
through the ether of the blessed Summerland
that are merely a breath away,
whispered words of love and comfort to soothe the grieving soul.

We stand on the threshold of the Celestial Ocean,
gazing skyward toward the Spheres of Life Eternal.
Unspoken promises made at the beginning of time that we would never truly die,
reflects in every crystal dew drop that glitters serenely in the pale light of dawn,.

The sounds of quiet weeping will vanish
as the music of our souls rejoice in light and truth.
Our worlds are barely a footstep, a breath, a thought away,
bound by a silver thread that joins all things that live in the light of the Goddess.

Our earthly remains are never wasted;
we all return to the earth from whence our bodies came
to nourish the trees and flowers.
And so life comes full circle.
It is the will of the Divine.”

Prayer for the Grieving

Weep not for those who succumb to Death’s cold embrace,
suffer not the sorrow of a contrite heart.
Death follows Life as Life follows Death.

Take comfort in thy guardian’s whispers
and know that thee shall follow
those who have passed before us
through the Silent and Shady Vale.
Think them not far away
for they bid us mourn no more,
there is no solace in lamentation.

So turn thy face to the sun
and find joy in the laughter of children.
Be not burdened by a grieving heart.
