Greetings Eisteddfod members-

This ritual was written by me try to bring under one effort our groups wide beliefs. We had a Norse pantheon member, an Egyptian pantheon member, ten Celtic pantheon members; three Druids, seven Witches and Two Shamans (and a partridge in a pear tree......LOL)

After two long years writing many rituals I finally stumbled upon this arrangement of which this was the "Final product" (hence the name "Final Esbat").

I submit this in memory of---
...those who were,
...those who are,
...and those who wish to be;
..................Druids.

Greetings everyone,

This ritual was written and performed several years ago as well.
I combined several belief systems and carried the theme of using the "Four Magical Tools" from the cities of the Tuatha De Danann.

...and yes, I placed Finias in the North because I had found a reference that showed this city was there and not in the East. I have since lost that reference and have only this ritual left. Finias gave the Tuatha De Danaan the Staff and this normally signifies "Air".

Notice also I placed "Gates" with names upon them.
These "Gates" are the directions through which people of that 'bent' entered the Nemeton for the Ritual and left after the ritual was complete.

Yours under the Oaks...

We recently had to cut a tree down in the front garden
Pressure from our neighbours. I was upset that we should have to cut it down
So I wrote this short ritual and we held the ceremony on the evening before it was due to be cut down.

Tree sacrifice

Water to sprinkle on the tree
Hand full of dirt for everyone there

Walk around the tree if that is possible
Clock wise three times
Sprinkling the water on the ground and on the tree
Reciting the verse

If that is not possible
Stand in front and cast the water over the tree
Reciting the verse

We ask the Sprits of the tree
For forgiveness
We ask the spirits of
Water, Earth, Sky and Air
Forgiveness
As we sacrifice this tree
In its sacrifice
We promise to plant another tree
In its honour in a more suitable site

Then cast the dirt around the bottom of the tree.
Blessing it

Awen Awen Awen
Your as old as your soul age not your body. I was born as Sagittarius was rising.
