My Mum & Dad
Imagine a love greater than any seen,
Where every day is filled with kindness,
Belly laughter & joyful tears,
It’s at the heart of the table, the family for me,
Where the blessings of smiles, bring hollers so full,
And the hugs, so mighty a heart, be understood.
Through every step, the minds work united,
By this great love, through all I am guided.
From wherever I am, whatever I do,
There’s such great strength of the love coming through,
Making me strong, giving me reason to fight,
Giving me self confidence & enthusiasm for life,
Making me proud to hold my head up high,
Cos I’ve been told I am so special, so lucky am I,
To be bestowed with such an absurd positivity,
Hey world, they’re havin a laugh & it’s all about me.
How intricately woven a beautiful path they create,
Brings wonderment & chuckles to me to this very day,
The more I grow, the more I live, the more I come to see,
What a mighty blessing in their template, has been made for me.
Most growing up experiences were the purest poetry.
To think how wonderful it is to have chrimbo at my folks,
To know a home where it is simple to have a good laugh & a joke,
To love each other so much, we all strive to our highest dreams,
So we can revel in the good times, best of friends, being real.
Such a kick start to this world to come in with such happiness.
All I can do is wonder how on earth I’m going to better the best.

Home
The trembling hand, holds such dear keys,
Such a gift from the heavens, especially for me,
The joy of a space, which I call my first home,
Such a luxurious pleasure, to in these walls roam,
When I first did arrive, was as bare as could be,
Now the dream has amounted, it’s so very cosy,
Makes me love every moment, when I remember the days,
When no home I had, just the sun’s rays.
Now I’m nestled & strong & can my nurture my dream,
To grow a heart’s song, limitless possibilities!

Breathe
How important it is, to express what we feel,
To let the tears flow in torrents,
The laughter ring in our ears,
To say what we feel,
Allows life’s cogs to turn,
So we can live to move forward,
Let the sensations roll,
As we can only bring new life,
Once the old has been shed,
We stay young of the senses,
As we allow to feel,
The bursts of the heart,
Keeping us being real.
Let the flow be so mighty,
Let the heart know to be,
So centred in the self, we see,
So, we are able to breathe.
