Just thought I'd put in something dark-ish, for Samhuinn. Last year some of my Pagan friends invited me to celebrate Hekatesia, or the feast of Hekate, and we found this perfect place in a dark grove to setup the ritual area. I only know very little about her that I really can't describe what's all in here. (Nor was I able to understand most of what was going on during the ceremony.) Even so, it was still a very magical evening for me.

I was a part of the 250,000 (official figure) March for the Alternative earlier this year. While the few tried to spoil it, the day was, for most of us, a day of unity, peaceful protest and a fun, carnival atmosphere. This photo shows our small section of the march forming up as we were about to join it.
Last week end I was at a popular british seaside resort. It was a roasting hot day and loads of people were at the beach, but it was so sad to see the children playing in amongst the rubbish and pollution floating about in the water. Is this our legacy to them?
