Little yellow envelope? and black dots?

Little yellow envelope? and black dots?

I've looked, I've read t he Q&A, how to use the board, etc.

I don't know what the little icon of a yellow envelope means 8-) I thought it might mean an unread post - no.....

I give up :blink:

Anyone figger it out yet?

IIRC, on the default theme/style this little yellow folder indicates that the forum has 'sub-forums' underneath it.

I use the 'view new posts' option. The little black dot appears next to the posts as listed in that option - and thanks to John, now I can see just how many places I post :o No dot if you scroll down the index.

Uh, okaaaaay. I'll go try "View New Posts," which I was using last night, and see if I've got black dots.

So, I went there and found little dog-earred black boxes next to my name. Are these the black "dots?"
