Showing a New Message where there is not

Hello,

In the upper left corner of the Forum page under the Druid's Head Pub logo it has "Logout" and is showing that I have "1 new message" I have clicked on this link several times and gone thru all my mailbox folders but see nothing in the way of new messages.

I've logged out and back in again and I have cleared my cookies.

Help! :???:

Hmmm - happened to me once and was explained by

"The sender has retracted the message before I could access it". Therefore, while you still get informed that there is a message, you cannot see it.

if there is another explanation, I would like to know, too.
