Welcome to the Sacred Sites forum. What are sacred sites, you ask? They are places that seem to heal the body, stir the mind and awaken the soul. These may be ancient man-made structures such as Stonehenge; natural sites of great power and beauty like the Grand Canyon; places of religious devotion, like the Western Wall in Jerusalem; modern secular sites, like the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C or even your favorite tree in your own back yard where you feel that you can touch the Divine.
Feel free to post stories, poems, thoughts and pictures of the places that inspire you and enjoy the tranquility as you visit these sacred places.
If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat.--Mark Twain
