Druids of Romania

A place to post stories, pictures, experiences and engage in druidic discussion of areas throughout the world that are considered to be sacred places. These may be ancient man-made structures, natural sites of great power and beauty, places of religious devotion, modern secular sites or individual private places that inspire awe and devotion.

Druids of Romania

Britain, Ireland, Gaul...yes, these lands had Druids. But did Romania have Druids?!
Take a look...For some reason I couldn't insert the images so just left the links...sorry :(
This is the sanctuary of Sarmisegetuza, today Orastie, (ancient religious and political capital of the Dacians):

So, what do you think? Can this be considered "druidic" or not? I'm asking you because in history class we only hear the word "priest" when it comes to the religious leaders of the Dacians, never "druid" but this sure looks like Celtic design to me...
Hope you like all this! :D
Blessings!

I don't know, but did find a couple of links, one about that particular circle in Romania, and the other link about "Pelasgian Symbolistics":

Since the Celts were in very different places around Europe, I wouldn't be surprised if they have some influence in Romania, maybe the ones from Galatia, don't you think?. Thanks for the info.

I'm certainly no expert, but those stones look more pre-Celtic..similar to other stone alignments, like Carnac.

it depends on what age the structures are. if they are pre 500BC or post 500AD then no. nothing to do with druids. to be fair, most of the monuments in the rest of europe have nothing to do with druids at all and predate tham by 1000's of years.
