Thank you for these ID sites, especially the Hainault Forest one.
We are blessed that our school grounds have lots of land and trees already, and we are now a Forest School and an Eco School.  The children have set up a nature area for the wildlife with lots of bird tables which they designed and built themselves.  I had a free hedgerow pack for them from the woodland trust, they are going to study the different hedgerow trees, and what types of wildlife they support, so your links are brilliant for them to use.

Greeting Tree lovers
I am a new member to the board
My inner spirit was a woken by the tree spirit after the great storm of 87.And I have spent the last 20 odd years trying to repair the damage that was done 40,000 so far. It was my love of trees which lead me to the Druid door and I becme a OBOD Druid in 2006. I have created a web site from my 20 years of conservation work, it is not a flash site but you may find it useful with tree identication and all aspects of growing native British trees and wild flowers.

I am a new member on this the board and a member of the Eastern Native Tree Society as well. We have much information on trees here and have many professionals within our ranks. We have also set a new standard for measuring trees here in the US and even in the rest of the world. As far as tree id goes, we have an on site database and what is not here you can ask someone and I am pretty sure you will find an answer
