Welcome to the forum. I haven't read her books, but they sound interesting.

We have a sub-forum dedicated to discussing aspects of the Christian-Druid path. It's located under the Druid Living section. I think all you have to do is send a PM to the Mod of that forum to gain access to it.

I recently came across a book called "Lost Christianites" by: Bart Ehrman... I think I might give that a read sometime too.

Just thought that I might post this, its about a documentary from a while back all about the mountain Cader Idris. One episode featured the mountains connection with spirituality and featured local progressive vicar Rev Geraint ap Iorwerth whose church is at Pennal near Machynlleth, Mid Wales. When I say church, it's also a multifaith ashram with a Goddess temple dedicated to Hagia Sofia in the grounds, a Buddhist shrine, a new standing stone circle, a large celtic cross and a sword in the stone outside the vicarage. Also at the side of the church is an area dedicated to the Welsh kings especially Owain Glyndwr who held parliament at the ancient capital, Machynlleth. It was opened by rock legend Robert Plant who has property and land nearby and has done his fair bit to preserve the environment of the Dyfi estuary.
Geraint has also written a book 'Honest to Goddess' about his connection to Her and his spiritual experiences and visions as a Gnostic preacher. It's a good little read.

As I have read that many feel closer to God in nature I was reminded of a scripture in Romans. This scripture teaches that "nature itself" will teach us about God. Why wouldn't one feel closer to God because of nature. The bible teaches us that nature virtually screams the truth of God.

Hiya. I just applied through the control panel. I'm new to the forums. I already wrote out my story in the hearthfire so I'm not gonna repeat it here but, I was born and raised Catholic. I still miss a few bits of it, but there's so much of it that I don't agree with. I'm fascinated with Druidry, and I'm curious to see if I can pick out the bits of Catholicism that I miss and carry them over.

I can thoroughly recommend a book with much of interest to the Druid following the path of Christ. "The Dove in the Stone" finding the sacred in the common place, by Alice.O.Howell. It is centered mainly on the Scottish island of Iona and tells a lot about the Holy Sophia, the feminine aspect of wisdom. It is a truly magical and beautiful book and although I only finished it a week ago I have started it again, I just get totally absorbed in it. It has also moved me to book a weeks holiday on Iona myself to follow the authors footsteps, and also those of St.Columba.
