I myself like to look at it this way.. If you were to look at God as the president (or king) and the others as the generals, coronels, sargents, etc. the bible doesn't say there is no other gods just " Tho shalt have no other gods before me" ( king james version, ten comandments).
And that the body is a temple, because we were all created in his image. Doesn't that seem to indicate if God is all powerful than some of that power is instilled into each of us? So therefore if you labor for yourself would that mean in a way you are "worshipping" him in the acient christian mannor?
