Thanks for posting this Nikki. People keep mentioning the article so I was hoping to get a chance to read it. Unfortunately, the petition is now closed so I didn't get a chance to sign it.

It's such an absurd article. The rantings of an ignorant, uniformed individual belongs on a personal blog, not on a news website (regardless of it's reputation).

This is my favourite part:
'And without the Judeo-Christian heritage there would be no morality and no true human rights.'

It's not the first time I've heard this, I live in the bible belt, afterall.

Yep - such views are certainly nothing original to me either - but they are never-the-less amusing!
You have to laugh - the alternative is unthinkable. :-(
