Seminar seed-thoughts...

Postby coldcell » 13 Dec 2010, 09:27

Dear All,

I thought I would give people the opportunity of starting to think about if they have any ideas for Seminars they would like to give to the board. It doesn't matter if you have never done anything like this before, or feel that you aren't a good writer. The Seminar series exists as a way of sharing ideas about your path that you think might be of interest to others. It could be experiential, academic, or whatever you think might make an interesting read to those on the board.

At this stage, even if you have an idea just for the title, or maybe there is a topic you are exploring at the moment which you find of interest that you have been led to as part of your OBOD studies that is starting to 'formulate' itself for you and you would like to express this in writing, then feel free to PM me and we can talk about the next step. This is a great opportunity to share your ideas and work with a larger audience and there are plenty of people on hand who can help getting the article together. At present it may only be a seed-thought; these are usually the most interesting as they evolve organically in ways we can never expect.

Or maybe you would like to speak about something that you have been interested in for some while, prior to your OBOD journey but are now seeing with 'new eyes'.

If you would like to present something [it doesn't matter if you have an idea but don't feel it will be ready for six months or a year] then please send me a PM and I will do all I can to help. This is a wonderful way of sharing something with others and as you can see if you take a look at the previous seminars, they seem to take on a life of their own. It also contributes to creating a pool of knowledge for future members to enjoy.

In the silence of the Grove,

Jason
