Witch's House

I loved Mika's fairy houses and, inspired I posted a pic there but then thought that perhaps I would show the sitting room too -
The accessories are bought but the floor is made of pieces of slate, the walls and fireplace are papier mache. The coal in the bucket is real coal and the ceiling beams are lengths of stained dowel.
I managed to find some tiny earthenware bricks in a craft shop so I used tile grout to build the hearth.

i'm lucky to be able to fire my own tiny bricks, and little pottery items from our own clay and terracotta. i haven't done much yet - i'm just starting. i'll post photos as i work, too.
