Personal Universe
Firm as mountains wreathed in clouds
I stood, my roots dug deep.
I threw my limbs high to the North
As an oak to wind's ecstasy.
From this, the Earth does nourish.
Just as trees sway with the breeze,
So too my soul contorted.
My face greeted gusts like grass so kind
As air seduced my heart.
From this, the Air inspires.
My spirit began to broil and churn
As fire enveloped my core.
I peered and fears disintegrated.
Infernos divined the dark.
From this, the Fire protects.
Flashes of cold as rain drops cascade.
The pure tears send sweet shivers
Coursing over flesh like streams serenading
Of rebirth deep within.
From this, the Water cleanses.
And in my own universe, I beg and pray a while
and hope the God and Goddess will look down, help me, and smile.
"The wise man must be patient, must never be too hot-hearted, nor too hasty of speech, nor too fearful, nor too glad, nor too greedy for wealth, nor ever too eager to boast before he has thought clearly." -from The Wanderer
"Bear armor tough as dragon scales
Bid armies fit to clash with gods,
We all lie down when Morgan calls."
