e-mail notification problem

Postby Robb Hawklord » 26 Jun 2006, 21:16

Having read another problem in the pub it was suggested to post such things in here by Selene, so here goes.

I'm not recieving requested notifications at more than snails pace, most of the time they are upto 12 hours behind, usually I get them in minutes.

At the time of posting this I still have not recieved Motuckquas Cwningen's reply to my "Walk in the woods" thread in OBOD general posted at 9:18am today and its now 9:15pm (just using that as an example having just replied on the thread myself.

All other e-mails are coming straight thru, from other sources that is.

Dont know where the problem could lie myself.

Phew! so glad to hear it's not my puter or IP!!  I have been having modem problems & just had to try to replace it, but the new one didn't work at all(go figure), so I rehooked the old one & I was able to connect to the net, but I just noticed that I hadnt been getting any notices either, so I got a little upset thinking I had done something!

I was planning to bring up this problem when I got home from work.  I'm glad it's not just my computer.

I'm having the same problem too!
But since I check every forum anyway (the flagged ones), I don't miss any of the posts I've made or replied to.

Well I'm still waiting for yesterdays notifications still, so maybe you got a rogue notification, unless of course the problem is fixed, but those already 'sent' cant be resent.

I spoke too soon.  A rogue notification it was.  I just got home and there were no emails waiting for me.  :-(
