Perhaps it's an idea to have a fixed time for the Social M00T?
That way, no1 will have to wait and see if anyone shows up ( I probably will anyway, now I've found it  :-) )
Only have to figure out which time is most convenient to all the different time-zones.

Hi, everyone,

Here's a link to a good international meeting scheduler: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html

It's pretty self-explanatory, but just select a city close to each of the participants, enter a date, and hit Show Timetable. You'll get a chart showing the times that are likely to be good for everyone in green, the times that might work in yellow, and the times that probably won't work in red.

Wow, Selene.  Thanks.  That's brilliant.
And there was me thinking that if Ghostrider managed that task he'd be an ideal candidate for Arch Druid.  :-)

Well, Selene -- you know how I am with this stuff...

All I saw was black, white, and gray. No pretty colors. What am I doing wrong?

You did nothing wrong. The timetable comes up black and white. If you enter the cities/areas and click on "show timetable," you will get to the screen that shows the colors. Red=normal sleeping hours. green=time of day when most people are working. Yellow=time when most people are awake but may not be at work.

When we scheduled chats, we usually used GMT as the base and then when from there.

I would love to get in on the chat but I can't seem to do it.  I keep getting some error that "due to past abuses my ip address is locked out".  (now this I don't understand as I've never used IRC chat before.)  Anyway....I've sent them a message, maybe they can help.

WillowCat, that means someone who had your IP before was abusive in a chatroom. You will not be able to get into the IRC chat until your IP address changes. So, you can see if your internet carrier can change it. If you are on DSL, if you disconnect your modem overnight, it usually will force a new IP address when you reconnect it.

Good luck.
