Board Style

Postby thudfactor » 07 Feb 2003, 10:59

One of the more trivial, but fun, features of PHPBB is that the message board can be displayed in several different styles. You can choose your favorite style and set that to be your default when you log in. This is the "board style" option in your profile. Currently everyone has only one choice: "subSilver."

Is there any interest in being able to personallize the display of the board this way? Vote in the poll associated with this post.

Can you tell us about some of the other style options?

You can preview a number of different styles here:

Some of them are nice, others are pretty painful to look at. :-)

I think although this is nice and sharp, we need something a bit more inviting, something homely and classic. Personally i think the "Chronicles" theme would really suit the place well
Change is in the air, can't you feel it?

I do think we might need to warm things up a bit. The nice thing, though, is everyone can choose their favorite of the ones installed.
