Sculptor creates giant 'tree spirit' at Stately home Cragside House.
Do check out this beautiful carving of the Green Man!! :D I wish I didn't live so far from Northumberland!

Hello Helen, Thank you for posting, It makes me smile to see that magic face. :D Talk about Recycling! He did this ancient entity a service by carving this reminder of the spirits we often don't see and take for granted. I'm glad he didn't just give up and let the tree rot.

That's absolutely wonderfull!
Carving is something I've always wated to be able to do but never really given enough of a try...maybe this summer...who knows! :???:

That looks amazing, it looks pretty interesting with the eyes, and the carved face. :o
