Hi Searles, thanks for this wonderful additional information (as usual from you!) I've not had time to properly digest this but a couple of thoughts arise with this:

1) Sall - Pole Star (a post or beam) - this would possibly relate to the Germanic Irminsul the post or beam around which the world spins. A brief precis' is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irminsul

2) Fuball - could this perhaps relate to Precession rather than whole Zodiac. I only ask becuase I was wondering if the Beltaine / Samhuin relate to particular Zodiac signs that rise at that time. Perhaps Orion (aka Frigga's Distaff) for Samhuin. Lugh's enclosure could relate to Sirius / Dog Star / Canis Major etc....

Unfortunately there isn't a 'celtic' star deity or anything about their astrological knowledge.
Probably the funniest audience participation show around. Discounts when quoting 'pagan'. www.dreamguardian.co.uk

There are plenty of Celtic star deities. We just need to figure out who they are and meet them.
