Tried to post on Friday, but could not be bothered....

After a three day statistics course, I was absolutely out of my mind. It did not help that the flight back to Scotland was a nightmare: First we were delayed two hours by the storm, then they got an airplane in, but had lost the crew, and when we were finally on the runway, they were chasing a fox off it... So was in total three hours delayed and at home by 1am in the morning. You can imagine how I felt...

But after a long and quiet weekend watching the rain pour down and hearing the wind howl, I look out at the sun over Fife, lighting up the Tay, and it is a great day :yay:

Thank you all so much for your love and woooootage. Much needed and warmly felt. Love you all in my blood and bones.

I am so going to Ainevar's Yule party. I know what I'm wearing, and everything. Me and that Bardolino guy will both be up early and freezing our bums off at Alban Arthan as we are climbing mountains in the dark for a dawn ceremony with our grove, so I'm gonna be well up for warm and twinkly celebrations.

And, welcome back, Merlin Stargazer.

What's everybody planning? Holidays are nearly upon us. Give me good news, everybody.

Someone very close to me died last week. It's his birthday today. He was so young and vital. Family in deep shock, but there is much in the way of love and strength and wonder. A big Buddhist celebratory funeral is planned for next week. I'll let you know how it goes.

I am not coming to any of the Yule parties, as I can only access the Messageboard from my office computer - I have no internet connection at home - it just is not worth the hassle in a rented house.... Therefore, please have a :guinness: on me when you celebrate, and say a toast :-)

I'm sooooo sorry for not being here as much as I want to. I have been soooo busy lately. Work is busy right before the holidays. All the paperwork has to be finished befor the end of the year and I don't want to save it all for the last days of december.
