and today was the last day for my university finals. Now that i can have a life for a couple weeks...what should I do...?

Hi All.

I spent today at the funeral of my wonderful brother-in-law. My heart is heavy.

It was a Buddhist funeral, very beautiful, full of love and wisdom. He had lived a full life for a man so young and there were so many people there from the many different areas of his life. We rejoiced in him with stories of the ways in which he had touched our lives. There were candles all around his coffin, a basket woven all over with flowers and ivy, and joyful ritual and chanting. Life is going to be so different without him.

I am sad to hear that you are having a hard time at home, Ainevar. I was looking forward to your party, and will be ready and waiting whenever you feel the time is right. I agreed with Jingle's advice. Keep your head down, but don't let it stop you from being who you are. I'll be here on Saturday night if you feel up to it and fancy keeping the appointment. Could do with a bit of fun myself. Laughter is druidic. Let's make merry in honour of those who find it hard to do so themselves, Ainevar. You know who I am talking about.

Final 2007 W0000000000000000T

I am out of here for this year, folks, as the university closes over the Christmas period and I have no internet at home. Therefore, if you are having a cyberparty, have a drink on me, as I will be lounging in front of the TV, fire in the hearth and a purring cat on my lap.

MamaB: from me, it is always sad to lose someone close and loved, but at least you know he lived a good life and you will meet him again in the Summerlands... And you had a great send-off.

Have a Great Alban Arthan, and a good Hogmanay, I will see you all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed (hopefully) in the new Year.

One more thing: I have only been on the board for about 6 months, but I have met so many lovely people here, it feels like a lifetime.
