I'm just going to sit here, giggling madly from the sidelines, as I'm allergic to custard...

Okay, no, not really. I've just got tactile issues with splooshy things. D'you know, I've never fingerpainted in my entire life? In kindergarten I refused to do it-- I would sit in a corner and read.

Ghostie-- huzzah for you on your studies, you're an inspiration. I've a problem, myself-- I went and sprung for the CD versions of the gwersi, and discovered too late that I do much better with print. :-/ Not that I don't enjoy listening to Philip's melodic voice, but I don't actually seem to be making any progress. I'm still stuck on Gwers 10... I really need to just start over. Sigh...

Anyway, enough seriosity-- W00T!! W00T!!!

The best ever pie fight (IMO), was a scene in the 1965 comedy "The Great Race".
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059243/
This film features the largest pie fight ever staged. The pies used during the pie throwing scene were real, containing fruit, custard, whipped cream and other ingredients. Following this scene the crew devoured more than 300 leftover pies.

Oh, I enjoyed that! Thanks, Dryadia2. Very funny. I'd also add the finale to Bugsy Malone if I could find a clip.

I wonder if they'd do you a swap? I prefer the print version myself.

And, why don't you try finger painting now? It's a revelation.

Oh woe is me! I have missed out on yet another classic Rowdy Adventure. Why, oh why have I not visited? Has my brain been taken over by the Norowdy aliens?!?! :o

And I LOVE pie! I would hate to waste one by throwing it, but in this case, I would make the sacrifice.

Mmmmm -- favorite pie? Several would tie for number one:

1. Lemon Chess / Pumpkin
2. Cherry
3. Buttermilk
