Our cat is spotted near our friends house where he ran away from. So he's alive and doing well. Well go looking for him this weekend.

AND

I fixed the waste pipe (I don't know if that's the right word for it) of my washingmachine. All by myself! I can wash again!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Big hugs to Mey!! I'm so glad your cat is no longer lost. I guess s/he just wanted a little vacation?

So, now commences another incarnation of outrageousness! Buckle up. :yikes: And no hitting on the new Rowdy, RhiannonTheFair, Ghostie. Behave yourself.

I'm sure Ghostrider won't want to participate, but I just had a radical idea. What if we brought food and DIDN'T have a food fight? What a concept! We can all bring our favorite foods, thereby learning about dishes from all over the world. OK, then -- from 1/32 of the world...

I submit some delicious TexMex:

Y'all know I don't know how to post a picture. C'mon. Click on it and take a look. All you need to go with that is a good cold beer.

That vacation is four weeks now. Long enough! It wasn't vacation for me at all! I hope he enjoyed it so one of us had some fun in that time.

I'll bring frozen chocolatemousse! It's heavenly!!! (just buy a jar and put it in the freezer for a day)

Well, Mey, I guess Hundje (sp?) just wasn't very considerate of your feelings -- staying away so long and all. I would be totally bonkers if Riley took off on a romp for four weeks!...

Chocolate mousse -- yum! <drools on self> I love that stuff. Bring two serivings for me! I'll just make myself sick.

See? What'd I tell y'all? Ghostie is boycotting this tame gathering because he wants to throw food instead of ingesting it.

I can't think of any cuisine specific to my area so I'll bring something in honor of the last time I was here - A pizza.
Oh, and I'll also bring some cream, for pangurban, because I have to bring something for the cat. (Methinks mine have trained me too well  )

Ais -- That's what cats do! :D

OK, pizza it is. I would think that there would be some sort of soul food along the banks of the mightly Mississippi? But that's a l-o-n-g river! Besides, pizza, enchiladas and chocolate mousse cover three of the four major food groups!

[Hope it's better than the last pizza we constructed here. It required Beano].

I will have to bring ice-cream gallons of it  There is an ice-cream parlour in the town I live called Mad George which is an in joke as Weymouth is where King George the third came a lot, and as we all know he was going quietly bonkers (methinks he would have made a good ROwdy) Anyway the owner makes ice-cream to die for and I consume far to much of the stuff :-)
