Hush now Merlin...
This is the R0WDIES.... it's already volitile down here...
If the ladies here hear of an event with 4 Druids in kilt (of which 3 are honest to Gods R0wdies...) they'll go APERS!!

Before you know it, they'll be demanding photographic evidence and THEN.... there will be NO end to it... :-)

We ladies demand photographic evidence of you gents in kilts. How do we know you're not just making this up?

I'd get that one good eye focused enough to see R0wdy guys in kilts, but I'd probably have a heart attack at such a sight. I guess I wouldn't need either eye in that case. :-)

You'd probably go blind seeing 4 druids, one of them Ghostie, in kilts.... When they said "A Sight for sore Eyes", I don't think they meant it this way

Photographic evidence would certainly be interesting, especially to see whether the kilt is worn properly, but that would get me an R-rating on the website :duck:

Too bad I cannot be there, it would certainly beat anything Scotland has to offer. It is too hot??? Cake flambee would be nice, it would at least raise the temperature to a level I could live with. My version of summer: Being on the beach without my woolly sweater and it only worked for one day. We are back to rain and cold again. Plus, I have just been told that I might not get to move into my house as planned, which will leave me stranded without a place to live :gloomy: I have three weeks to go, and each day makes the move less certain...

So, I now go and get hooked on mead to forget my troubles... :gulp:

My summer: yesterday harvesting barley in the open air museum while it was 25 Celsius; today removing the weeds on the field (that's even more work ) while it was 29.... :anx:

Still, I love doing this work and I enjoyed harvesting this way more than last year, when we had to do speed-harvests between the rains...And with a linen cloth wrapped around my hair the sun wasn;t so bad.

At least it is very Lughnasadh :D

Since Hondje (Doggy) ran away everybody we speak offers us a new cat. So did my cousin. She kicked herboyfriend out of her house and he left her with three cats. Which is one too many.
So this sunday we'll be the proud new owners of Muis (Mouse):

She's 5 years old and too cute.
If Hondje comes back he's more then welcome but he'll has to share his pillow!

Oh and we'll be at Castlefest on saturday!!!

What a cutie, Mey! I'm so glad the fates found you a new kitty. One assumes that she's a good, er, mouser. Not that you would need such services, of course...

Aylyn -- What happened!?! I thought the house was a done deal. You must be devastated. Are you going to be homeless? Can you find an affordable B&B, maybe?

Muis is really sweet, I am glad you are having a cat again. Being without one is just so boring. The only thing I do not like is having a good mouser - Kiara brought me a mouse the other day, unfortunately a live one. And even worse - she has broken its back. That is not the kind of thing you need at breakfast.... So hopefully, Muis will stay on her pillow and purr

Thanks for the heads-up, Twig. The problem seems to be that the house has an appendix, which was supposed to have a full planning permission. Turns out that the final approval has been applied for, but not yet been approved. So far, this means that it is unclear whether or not the appendix can stay - should do, but is not yet signed for. And in the meantime, it reduces the house size and with that the price. So the mortgage lender might retract the mortgage. We still hope that the city council will send the approval through, but that is bureaucracy we are talking about. What bugs me is the fact that I HAVE to leave the house I live in now. I will have to store my things, put the cats in a cattery (Which they would hate), and have to stay in a B&B until I found another place. I just hate the chaos....

So hopefully, things will turn around in the next few days. Wish me luck

Hope you guys have fun at the Castlefest while i watch the rain fall....

Bright Blessed Lughnassadh, my lovelies!! I'm so sorry I've not been around this summer-- life has been hideous, horrible, and downright horrifying. All three of my monsters have sustained self-inflicted lacerations that required various levels of stitching; we lost one tiny kitty and acquired two slightly larger ones; it's too bloody hot to live and I'm as broke as broke can be. Also every pregnant person in the area seems to have decided July was THE month to give birth, so work has been nothing shy of insane. So let me fling a stray W00T and go curl up in a dark corner so I can catch my breath!

Heilsa R0wdies!

Just want to thank all R0wdies and non-R0wdies for an awesome weekend!
Even though Lugh and Taranis had a great time throwing all sorts of weather at us, we had an awesome Lughnassad!

Great meeting D'Arzhur, Igor and Merlin, had a nice time tasting mead with Katsu (although he DOES still have an apple-pie coming  AND... next time Omnia is around.. YOU'RE DANCING BRO!!! I'm not kidding!) Lizzy... we had an awesome ritual today and a fabulous drum-circle yesterday, the energy there was amazing... and Ennys, I've got your tipper after all, so we need to get that your way, also thanks for that Gigue!
Anyone I failed to mention... THANK YOU ALL for a great Castlefest! And see you next time!

Oh.... and Twig... there´s a picture on the way of 3 R0wdies in kilt... :-)

IS IT KNUFFEL-FEST ALLREADY???? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!
