Hello. I am a senior chap from the woods and mountains of Scotland.
I visited a few times last year as part of my research now I'm back
hoping to be a bit more social.
I am recently a single parent with two scamperish braches
my wife of 28 yrs having followed the Angel guides to Spain
and met a chappy more sexy than me (how this is possible ?)
Anyway I'm into animal guides and the sacredness of nature plus a huge fan of
the works of Philip Carr-Gomm
I enjoy all sorts of music and like Moby at the moment.
My favourite tree is Birch for its pointers to New Life/beginnings. I have a bad habit of talking to the trees
and find their reaction is usually a stunned silence.
My down side is that I don't smoke nor drink alcohol but on the upper I do keep fit with weights, walking the woods,
and doing Tai Chi.
My education is BA and PGCE (Retired). My personality dead boring through to witty, tactless sometimes but mostly thoughtful.
I spend my time on my writing and artwork and worrying.
That's about it for now,

Talking to anything is good, whether it be a tree or yourself or that one bird that sits awkwardly outside your house in the morning, it helps vent things out. But then again so does this website. Good to meet you.

I didn't post much here on my last account, so I'll just post a little about myself: My name is Rebekah, vegetarian for two and a half years - recently tried vegan but found it a bit too difficult. Cheese is my problem.
I'm from Northern Ireland, grandparents on one side are Irish and the other side is Scottish. Been learning the Druidic path for about two years or so now, haven't done any rituals yet due to lack of confidence, maybe sometime soon though...
At the moment I am just a bit of a book monster.

My name is Sparrow, and I've recently begun my journey. I was lucky enough to meet an OBOD Ovate on another online forum, and she directed me here to learn more. I am going to start studying next month. Until then, I am reading everything I can find and lurking around this forum learning from all of you.

I am 23, I live in the midwest USA, and I'm a writer. I work from home, and I have an almost-3-year old daughter. We just bought a small farm and are preparing to move to it this autumn. I do a lot of crafty type things (knitting and sewing mostly).

I was raised Christian, but have always had a sort of disconnect with the religion. I was doing some genealogical research a few years ago when my great-grandmother died. She was from Ireland, but never talked about it much, and I wanted to know more. I found out that I am Irish and Scottish with a bit of Dutch thrown in for flavor. I became really interested in Celtic everything, which eventually led me to Druidry.

So, that's what got me here, and who I am in my daily life. I look forward to meeting all of you.
