hello all.
i live in the peace river valley in northern alberta canada. in the bush, off the grid.
the only connection i have to the outer world is my phone line and it's very slow dialup.
i live with wood heat, solar power and don't have running water, and it's beautiful here.
i am indeed blessed.
oh, and i'm 55.

Hello all! I am Bev, 54 years old. Mother of two grown ups and grandmother of three little ones (soon to be four!). As you can probably guess from my username, I like sewing of all kinds (especially robes, cloaks, corsets and waistcoats!). I have an environmental science degree from the University of Climategate (UEA ). I have been exploring paganism for nearly 40 years now and have been interested in the druid path for some time. Greetings from the North! I've been living various pathways of paganism for 7 yrs and have been working on my Bardic grade for almost 2 years now. Taking it nice & slow.
I live in the Kootenay mountains of British Columbia, Canada. I would love to connect with other Canadians!
I love to travel, hike, practice yoga, herbalism, craft jewelry, study all things natural & free, grow food, and explore my spirituality in all ways.

Hello everyone,

My name is Florian, I'm 27 years old and I live in Worb near Berne in Switzerland.
I've got the luck to live close to the fields, forests and mountains far from the big cities where you still can enjoy nature by just leaving the house.

My first contact with paganism was around 2000 when a witch layed the Tarot cards for me. I suddenly saw that there was more than just our physical
and logical world. A spark was lit inside of me that I couldn't ignore anymore and that grew larger and larger throughout the years.

Now, I can lay the Tarot myself, helping other people analyze their current situation, showing the conscious and unconscious influences.
Since many years now I feel a connection to our planet, a love for the forest, mountains and the wild that comes from so deep that I tried to find out,
where that comes from.

I've read so many books, participated in or did my own rituals but it still didn't feel complete. So I stumbled over a book called "the druid History" and
my way was clear. I found the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids and decided to join at the end of 2009. I'm glade I've done so because I know that this
is my path and I'm so glad to have found my way.

So I hope I can contribute to the forums and like to thank all of you for understanding that as a Swiss guy my English is not always understandable *grin*

Hello All!

My name is Olwynne (Emily is my given name). I'm 34. I am brand new here to the message board, but not too new to OBOD.
I live in northeastern Pennsylvania USA on the PA/NY border in the Appalachian mountains with my family.
My partner is a Bard, I'm an Ovate, and we have two darling children (daughter almost 13, son will be 10 soon). We also live with two feline friends: Osiris and Merlin.
We're an active outdoorsy family and we're all ridiculously creative and very laid-back and fairly hilarious.
My favorite apple is the Braeburn. I don't have a favorite tree, but I reeeeally love old Oaks and Sequoias (I miss seeing them, I'm originally from northern California).
My favorite herbal tea is chamomile (with a bit of fresh peppermint), and my favorite season is winter (but I love them all!).
I love music, it is a big part of our family. My heroes are children that play musical instruments, or are wildly creative in whatever way that speaks to them.
