I have never joined a certain pagan group because there was always things I didn't like and so I remained solitary until I met my husband in 2007. We celebrate the changing of the seasons together. He is definately the male to my female. We live in Greenfield, Ohio USA, I am 33 years old. I can't wait to start reading the forum and learning from all the members.

I have decided to undertake the course with OBOD and have just placed my order.

I'm Davis, I live in Edmonton, Canada. I'm 20 years old, and was a Christian for most of my teen years, and had a difficult time wrapping my head around my apostasy. I took a bit of a trip into sheer materialism, but then became interested in what Druidry and paganism might offer just under two years ago. I just recently joined OBOD after deciding to pursue Druidry more seriously and I'm anxiously awaiting my first OBOD lessons! I'm currently identifying myself as a pantheist. Hoping to get to know people in my local Pagan community, if you live nearby hit me up!

I'm a huge metalhead, and love most forms of metal music, especially death, black, and folk. I'm proud of my vocal and lyrical talents, and I'm looking forward to expanding them in the Bardic course. I'm also teetotal tea lover, or a teatotaller as I like to say

My name is Rhiannon (officially it's still "Sandra"but I will legally change my name in the near future...). I'm 42 years old.
I've just started the Bardic course and I am eager to learn more !
I live in Holland with my wonderful hubby and adorable children (2 boys, aged 10 and 4 ) I used to live in England (about 20 years ago) and Britain will always have a special place in my heart. I was born and bred in France but I don't have many happy memories about that part of my life.I am at peace now with the past but I'd rather think about the present and the future .

I am passionate about life, feel close to Nature, especially "my friends"the trees. I love "anything"Celtic (mythology, names,etc...) and enjoy many things like ; meditation, learning about healing with herbs, gardening, cats, horses (I haven't got any yet but who knows in the future.. ), wicca,etc...
I have also been interested in Druidry for a few years already but felt like I "could not wait any longer"to learn more about it. I started the Bardic course at the beginning of January and I enjoy it a lot !
I am looking forward to "meeting"you on this forum, and hopefully one day at one of the gatherings

Greetings, I am Halen and recently commenced my Bardic training. I feel it only right to introduce myself.

I am 56, male, married, have a springer spanniel called "Druid" and live in Gwynedd. I enjoy music and till recently played in a rythm and blues band for the last 10 years, I play bass, saxophone, 6 string banjo, 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars. I ride a Harley Davidson and enjoy long motorcycle runs.

I have been a pagan many years and since a child I have been drawn to the Druids. My path has been a solitary one, following the Celtic Shamanic using Spirit Drum and Rattle to guide me to the other realms. My journeying in the worlds has taught me many things on this life path, especially about myself. Alot of my experiences have continually led me back to Wales and the history of the tribes and hence I live in Gwynedd.
Having followed the Wheel of the Year, the seasons and the festivals since 1993 my task has been to go back in time and find the treasures of the past and find their relevance in society today. And now is the time I have come back home and undertaken my Bardic Training with like minded souls in the Grove.

Prob sounds a bit heavy but as my introduction it is who I am and where I am on my life journey. I am a very normal bloke. with a great sense of humour, who enjoys a beer, good music and a love of good company .

Hello all!

Well, my name's Adam - I'm 28 and live in Coventry in the good old UK.

The journey towards Druidism has been gradual, but one I think is a definite one.

I grew up in a typical non-practising CofE family, and was never really bothered with a spiritual journey until my early twenties when I became fairly religious but I lost all that and became an Atheist then.

However, I've always Spiritualist views despite my religious status - my family (on both sides) has members who are very spiritual and are always getting harangued by people from "the other side" which I have a hard time disagreeing with. Even though I'm not a believer in a conscious deity, I do think there's great spiritual energy and the strong possibility of a netherworld or otherworld etc.

With the Druid path, what attracts me is the strong connection to nature and ancestors - I've always been a natural gardening and with animals (even more so than other people).

I've recently done a bit of digging on my family tree and found I have a good bit of Celtic ancestry - my surname (Williams) is Welsh and from the Bangor/Llanberis area and I've recently found out on my mum's side that my grandad was only half English - his other side is Scotch/Irish!

I'd live to explore the path of Druidry some more, eventually settling on the Bards course when finances are stable. I'd also love to learn about my British heritage and explore our fantastic history and myth/legend.
