What are we Thankful for today?

I'm thankful for that time when cold has finally seeped to our town, but the birds have not yet fluttered away for what seems like an eternity without their music.

I am so thankful that I was able to find an amazing new apartment back north in the city and was able to get away from that negative depressing town where I have spent my last year. Yay!!! I am thankful for new beginnings.

A trip to Swedens Gamla Uppsala where the old gods are still so apparent. I paused last night to welcome the 'local' gods to my Samhain ceremony, today I met them face to face. Archaeology, ritual, spirituality, morality. Ok, so they're maybe not the gods for every druid but there's a lot to learn in this special place. Samhain blessings

I am very thankful that all the members of my family made it through Hurricane Sandy without injury, power loss or anything more than minor storm damage. A 50 mile shift in the track to the south could have been devastating.

But as on all other days, I am also always thankful for the blessings of Mother Nature, of my family, my friends, my faith, and of my lifestyle, for the chance to serve my community, for the chance to network with those of the same beliefs, for everything I am and everything I have the potential to be!
