What are we Thankful for today?

I am thankful for the warmth of the summer solstice
because a months rain has fallen in two days
and this makes me grateful for the sun
and its life giving energy.

Too, I am thankful for my infant son's
hugs and my daughter's smile
they give an inner warmth
on the dankest day.

I am so thankful for our 3rd day in a row of subshine and 80 degree weather in Western Washington State... I am sure many of you have heard about our wonderful Seattle weather. Yay Sunshine!!!

Abundant clear spring water, a fantastic early morning walk in the woods & a conversation with a hawk in a tree above me. Seriously, I don't speak hawkish but he certainly was talking to me & I was talking right back. I wonder if he speaks english.....

It's a cool morning with a light mist.

I went to my customary spot at the riverside for introspection and meditation, greeted the spirits of each quarter, the earth, and the heavens. Walked along the river to observe water life, and walked up the bank to the paved walking path thoughtfully provided by my employer.

As I reached the path, everything just felt absolutely marvelous.

I am truly grateful for the experience.

I am thankful for the rain staying off long enough to get round my delivery.Now the heavens have opened.

I am thankful for a lunchtime yoga lesson with a message that was a true breather, very nice for the afternoon in the office.

Thankful for being back home after two months and 15 flight connections worth of travel for work. Hoping I never have to do that again.

I'm thankful for the new artwork on my little Remo drum. A good friend has painted oak leaves and acorns on it, in a stunning design. Have to wait a few days to make sure the acrylics are dry, then I can pop it in my rucksack and head out a long walk and some drumming. My main Remo drum had an ash tree painted on it some time ago, so there is a definite tree theme going on here.
