A gigantic early celtic calendar was discovered near Villingen-Schwenningen in Germany. The layout of the graves matches the star constellations of the northern sky.
Rows of wooden poles marked the extremes of the moon rising and setting.
The layout dates the site to about 600 BCE.
and it's not April first - wow...
