Hello, :tiphat:

I am writing a paper on the celtic culture. Specifacially the pre-christian celtic social structure/life. I would be very thankful if someone would point me to some good literature (books, articles or other sources) on the celtic society, regarding classes, rulers/chiefs/kings and how they were selected, religion, living arengments, family structure, tribes, villages, towns, laws etc.

Barry Cunliffe is good : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barry_Cunliffe
particularly his 'Facing the Ocean: The Atlantic and Its Peoples, 8000 BC to AD 1500'

also look at this article and partiucarly the Bibliography :

Most dear is fire to the sons of men,
most sweet the sight of the sun;
good is health if one can but keep it,
and to live a life without shame. (Havamal 68)
