castles in the mist

Postby Crimson Stormfire » 17 Jun 2012, 15:36

there are castles in the mists here,
dark and brooding at the edge of my sight,
veiled in the secrets of the pale fog.
They echo a time long since departed,
And a time yet to be.
Their banners hang silent,
their sconces unlit.

There are castles in the mists here,
They dance twixt shadows and light,
neither here nor there.
empty and haunted, or full and alive
They dance throughout the swirling mists.
calling out to you
promising you wonders.

There are castles here in the mists
along the paths of shade and shadow
you might find yours
and know peace and wisdom from its libraries and people
you might find yours
And need to fight to make it safe from the hoards
You might find yours
Vacant and empty, in need of something else farther down your path.

There are castles here in the mists,
along the paths of shade and shadow,
I have walked these paths and seen many things,
opened a door beneath a waterfall with three guardians and found myself
but here there are castles majestic and beautiful,
Swirled in the slow moving mists.
i walk among them and admire their shadowy figures.

There are castles here in the mists,
I have looked in this foggy place,
along the paths of shade and shadow,
I have not found mine.
It exists here, somewhere,
and when its my time to know it,
the mists will clear from it,
and my banners will unfurl along it walls.

Until then i will continue my journey
along these paths and continuing learning and experiencing
these gifts as they are given to me.

Let him step to the music he hears,
