A Song to the Goddess, Number 2

Postby Daryvas » 27 Oct 2010, 14:43

You hear the music of the pipes
and hear the chants of ancient rites
but you have heard them all before.
You love them but you long for more.

You listen closely to the wind
and hear the changing hearts of men
but you have heard this all before
They love you but they long for more.

You give them dreams of what could be
They dance the steps of what has been
but you have seen this all before
You love it but you long for more.
We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. - Teilhard de Chardin

Nice sing-song quality to this. Keep 'em coming.

There is not a tune that I have been inspired to write. Perhaps Awen will give you the opportunity! :D
