AUTUMN

Postby PHILIPPE » 08 Nov 2010, 19:16

Bright evening to all ! - I am new to the forum, have been an OBOD member for 6 months in the Bardic grade. I have been writing poetry for many years and would like to share this poem which I wrote this morning after our Meditation and Rituel workshop in Glastonbury - a great week-end, thank you Kate and Barry ! Here is:

AUTUMN

I am the breath of the river
I am alive

I am the blood of the earth
I am alive

I am the eye in the sky
I am alive

I am the cry of the fire
I am alive

My hands on the ground
Travel vast distances
They smell of perfume
And disappear in fumes

Rainbows splash and collide
Onto the crown of aging oaks

In the gentle meltdown
Of the sunset’s pulse
Heat is given away
For the soul of dying leaves

Bright blessings under the stars,

Philippe

Hi Philippe,

Welcome to the boards.

So good to meet at the workshop, and that you were so poetically inspired by it.

Blessings of Hawk, Stag, Salmon and Bear to you.
