Fire, flame and ember

Postby butterfly_spirit » 12 Nov 2010, 13:19

I sit and watch the flames, dancing before my eyes
The flickering light is hypnotising, true beauty to behold
I feel the fire entering my being, filling me, body and soul

Fire, flame and ember
I feel your spirits here
Fire, flame and ember
I dance with thee tonight

And now I rise to join, your power pulls me in
Within this Sacred Grove I find, my element inside
I absorb the wild energy, and fall in step with you

Fire, flame and ember
I feel your spirits here
Fire, flame and ember
I dance with thee tonight

And your Spirit fills me now, I sparkle with your light
O we move as one true entity, and there is no way to tell
Where I end and You begin

As the flames begin to quell, a stillness fills the air
I lay me down by your side, and watch the embers glow
And now the dreaming ensues, the dance begins again

Fire, flame and ember
I feel your spirits here
Fire, flame and ember
I dance with thee tonight

The pacing and the conversational tone interspersed with the energetic internal dialogue make it seem like you are right there talking to us personally. I enjoy this style very much.
We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. - Teilhard de Chardin
